PRES-LLC JOB POSTING – MECHANIC HELPER

PRES-LLC is seeking an experienced general aviation Aircraft Mechanic Helper to join our maintenance team in Tidewater, VA and Pensacola, FL locations. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working on a variety of aircraft that can range from the occasional WWII aircraft to today’s most modern fighter aircraft.  If you enjoy variety and steady work, come join our team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting.
• Remove aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, engine parts, plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Accurately completes all required Aircraft Helper maintenance actions using technical manuals.
• Operates all tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignment as an Aircraft Helper.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong aircraft mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong aviation background removing an assembly as required.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Read and interprets manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of removing components.
• Perform other mechanic duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience preferred.
• High level of initiative and commitment.
• Excellent performance and attendance history.
• Prefer experience with military aircraft.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Favorable results from pre-employment drug test and criminal background check required.
